Neon x Pastel addiction

Hello all! How are you all doing? I have spent a lot of my days off school meant for studying at the shops. I'm noticing a lot of new trends coming out and about from the recent crazes of prints, tribal influences and pastel colours. I'm really excited because I feel that mixing neon and pastel colours is going to be a great opportunity to clash and wear some things in my wardrobe I haven't dared to bring out in a long while (and a great excuse to buy new things) Speaking of which I bought some key items today including a knit powder blue sweater, mint jeans and a fluffy pure white sweater - you can see these on my instagram.

Also, one of my good friends Chelsea, who I am going to be doing the same course as next year has started taking her fashion blogging to another level by doing sponsored posts as well as sharing her own individual style. The sheer sweep dress. I ordered this sparkly on Romwe.com when it was on sale and couldn't wait to accessorize it with it. It has the green/blue cosmic print, but it really reminds me more of under the sea. I incorporated this deep sea inspiration in my outfit by adding my favorite beachy starfish earrings and my gold and pearl jewelry. I took the first set of pictures and wasn't completely satisfied with them so i changed a couple details including my necklace and heels, and finished off the later that day. I really love the make-up for this look and i enjoyed doing it. I used mostly MAC eyeshadows plus an NYC gold shimmer, and BUXOM Mascara, with a MAC mascara topcoat. My nails were painted in Sinful Colors 'Rise and Shine', and lips in a pink and gold sheen gloss by Vincent Longo called 'Rosewood Luster'.

Such a boring, comfy, shapeless outfit but I thought I would post it as I haven't done an outfit post in two weeks!  I'm going to be typically English right now and complain about the weather but seriously how is it June?! If the weather doesn't get better my birthday tea party will be ruined, and I don't want that to happen!

Also, I have joined the iPhone crew. My blackberry died on me a couple of days ago so today I bit the bullet and ordered a refurbished 3GS from Amazon which should be here soon. I'm very excited but even more excited to buy lots of pretty cases for it. This one is my favourite:

Start a very special week!  On Friday we go to Amsterdam! =) Now it's the stress of preparing luggage, itineraries, etc etc ... Of course, I will show you many pics of our trip. As for the look, this is a littel bit more seriouse than others, with less colors. About sandals, I take them off and use them mainly for work (the truth is that on weekends I give my feet a bit of respite). Obviously, we're not talking about a wedge or platform shoes, but they are not the most impossible shoes I have. For the next look I bring you more information and carefree! ¡Comienza una semana muy especial! Espero que, por esa misma razón, no se me haga eterna!! El viernes nos vamos a Amsterdam! =) Qué ganas tengo!! Aunque hasta que no me vea sentada en el avión, no me lo creo. Ahora toca el estrés de preparar maleta, itinerarios, etc etc... Por supuesto, os enseñaré muchas fotitos de nuestro viaje.

En cuanto al look, después de tanto colorido que os traigo últimamente, toca un poco de sobriedad. Ya veréis que estoy un poco morenita, aprovecho los fines de semana para ir cogiendo colorcito y después poder enseñar las piernas sin que parezcan reflectantes ^^. Las sandalias no me las quito, y principalmente las uso para ir a trabajar (la verdad es que los fines de semana doy a mis pies un poco de tregua). Me preguntáis mucho que si son cómodas o no.... Obviamente, no estamos hablando de un zapato con cuña o plataforma, pero no son de las sandalias más imposibles que tengo.
